Contrapanel is an acoustic panel with exceptional strength. The surface of the panel is laminated with pre-impregnated white paper which gives the robustness.

Contrapanel meets the toughest requirements for impact resistance and is ideal for use in high-activity rooms such as sports halls and gymnasiums.

Recyclable comfort

Contrapanel acoustical panels are designed for recycling. The panels are made from gypsum - a recyclable material. After ended service life, the panels are taken apart and the gypsum core is used in production of new gypsum boards.

Tested for impact resistance

Contrapanel is rated Class 1 for impact resistance, in accordance with EN 13964. The impact resistance is tested by throwing a handball to the Contrapanel surface at different angles and speeds. The robustness of the surface of a Contrapanel means that the ball impact has no influence on the integrity of the material and leaves no marks.

Time-saving solution

The design of a Contrapanel means that both acoustical and impact-resistant functionality of a wall or ceiling surface is ensured by the panel itself. Therefore, with Contrapanel you are able to meet the requirements for acoustics and strength in one simple installation process. Contrpanel is screw-fixed to a CD2 furring system using white-painted screws. No filling or painting required.
