One of the major advantages of acoustic gypsum ceilings is that you are able to mix and match different ceiling types and still achieve an aesthetic and functional coherent between the different solutions. The VW Scherer Autohaus in Wiesbaden, Germany is a good example of this opportunity that gypsum offers you. In this project, architects have installed a fixed Solopanel ceiling in parts of the showroom to achieve a monolithic acoustic surface. And in order to ensure access to the installations in the rest of the building, they have used Contur demountable ceiling tiles, installed in a concealed T-grid structure.
