The Lümü Kindergarten in Neustadt, Northeast of Hamburg in Germany, is a newly built Kindergarten. With children, the sound level can easily rise both quickly and to a very high level. Therefore, it was a huge priority when choosing materials for the new Kindergarten to have an excellent acoustic solution. That way, both teachers and children experience comport and a calm atmosphere – even though children play, sing, run around, talk and are just being children.
The choice for an acoustic solution fell on acoustic gypsum ceilings tiles from Knauf Danoline, our DANOloft® ceiling. DANOloft® is our pre-painted acoustical ceiling tiles with a minimalistic design and a discreet screw-fixing. The kindergarten chose to have DANOloft® on every ceiling in every room, and because of DANOloft®s minimalistic design, the ceilings now have this bright, monolithic and homogen surface.
