Østre School

Project name: Østre School

Project type: Education

Location: Holbæk, Denmark

Architect: Gorm Nielsen

Renovation of the Oestre School in Holbaek required a solution that would preserve the original architecture of the building. Thus, the ceiling in the main hall is shaped like a vault to follow the arch-shaped window section of the main entrance. The most suitable solution for curved shapes in the ceiling with acoustic treatment is perforated Designpanel which is shaped on the site. To ensure acoustic comfort and consistent design, Desingpanel is also used in the classrooms, only on a flat structure.
