A school’s gymnasiums must provide a safe and comfortable environment for children to play and develop in. The choice of acoustic ceiling materials is therefore of vital importance. The materials must absorb sound and spread light in the gymnasium, and at the same time they must be safe enough to withstand impact.

Contrapanel ceiling and wall lining meets all these requirements. Within its robust gypsum core and foil-covered surface, Contrapanel is designed to meet the toughest requirements for impact resistance in accordance with DIN 18 032 (EN 13 964). The round perforations provide excellent sound absorption while the white surface ensures a pleasant light spreading in the gymnasium.
